Do you dream of the day when you can fire your boss? Like you, thousands of people everyday dream about creating a better future for themselves and their families. Work at home entrepreneurs have been paving the way with hope for ordinary people. Success stories of work at home business owners can stimulate the imagination and ordinary people believe there may be hope that they can be successful too. However, there are no instant riches or driving a fancy car in 3 months. You will need to be disciplined and be committed to a daily routine over the long term to be successful.

Work at home is the dream of both online and offline entrepreneurs. Having a substantial income, time freedom and more time with family and friends while you work at home is also part of the dream. All too often people get caught up in the dream and forget the the reality. Regardless of the way you chose to build work at home business, online or offline, the key word will always be WORK at home.

Personally, I want to work at home, with an online business with integrity. That is a lofty goal indeed. I have been working online for many years and have definitely come across some great companies. The one area that all have fallen short in my expectations is support. Company support is often the best part of any business, but when you get right down to it, company support is focused on keeping their business integral by providing policies and procedures.

A Google search has Hundreds of companies that are turning to online marketing to move their products to the end consumer or customer. Having independent representatives or distributors can actually increase a company’s bottom line. Having a work force that works for free and only gets paid when they move product by recruiting other distributors or representatives.

That’s right, aspiring business builders are required to purchase product. Although work at home business builders are encouraged to sell the product to customers, the biggest benefit is in getting business builders who will purchase a required amount of product every month. So, essentially, you end up with a base of people wanting to build a business and very little else.

Good for the company, but not so great for the person trying to build a work at home business. If you are one of those people purchasing product that you don’t really want or need, just because you want to build a work at home business, how long will you continue to purchase those products if you are not making any money?

Welcome to the new paradigm in building a long term and viable business. You simply buy customers and show new business partners the same process. If you are interested in writing, you are in the right place. Writing would be an absolute Legitimate Work at Home business to own and run on the internet, it will give you lots of opportunities.

Develop your business plan. Have you stopped to think that when you build a legitimate Work at Home business you will need 3 to 5 reach out methods, many of which require writing skills? This concerns a lot of people because in school we are often not encouraged or praised for writing. Actually writing skills are being lost in our school systems today in the US.

You can learn the skills, it just takes dedication and desire. Anything can be researched and studied unitl you can do it. How often I hear; “I can’t write, I’ve no talent for that or I’ve run out of things to write about.” Hogwash, anyone can learn to write if they are willing to spend some time and practice. To get your name out there on the internet you need to do a lot of writing, or I guess to be more accurate, it is one of the key ways to get your name known. To be successful in a legitimate Work at Home business you must brand your name and get a huge amount of quality content published.

Some have it and some don’t but normally creativity is created and encouraged, some can write easier and more creatively than others but it is a skill that can be learned. First take some time and Google whatever topics you would be writing on, that is your niche, and see what catches your eye. Look for topics to make money online and make notes as well, they will help you in the future. Remember an article, blog or web has only 3 to 5 seconds to catch someone’s attention or they move on. So what catches your attention? Look at fonts, colors, topics, headers and style. In the end, content is king.

Don’t get lazy and fall behind. It is important to keep up with the trends so you will always be reading and I suggest Google Search for whatever topic you are working with. Look at forums, press releases, blogs, webs and book mark those that interest you so you can go back to them for the latest trend. The world is constantly changing so don’t become stale.

Be yourself and don’t try to mimic someone elses writing styles. It makes you feel more real, more human. People can feel when you are writing like a robot. Also being you will allow your creative side to emerge as you do more and more writing. I suggest starting with blogging, it is good practice.

It will make your job much easier and more enjoyable if you’ve a niche that is something you really care about. Trying to write about some dry topic you could care less about takes and excellent writer to be successful. Let that go to the professionals.

The mind goes a bit blank after writing for long periods. I have a kitchen timer, set it for one hour and when it rings, I get up, stretch, do a few yoga positions or walk out to the garden, get some water and fruit, or whatever to break up the body and mind blocking up. When I come back to my PC, my mind is fresh and ready to go again.

Almost everyone draws a blank at times so what to write? Have you ever had writers block? There is a book I recomend call Artists Way. Sometimes I have a general idea but not sure how to approach it. That can be tough. So I just start writing, somewhat like having a conversation, to get the flow going. I can always go back and reword, delete or add to it. For your legitimate Work at Home business you must become a master of cut and paste with your work, it won’t take long and your article will be finished. Just keep a joural on your PC of ideas, quotes and reseaerch so you have ideas to draw on. Now you have one more article done and hundreds to come bubbling from within. Enjoy the process.

Home based internet business has so many tools available,and, a gaggle of high pressure sales people pressuring you to buy their ONE and Only Best there ever was. They guarantee you to succeed without working at all. Expect overnight success and the old line, ‘even a 5 year old could do it!’ When you work from home you will be hit with every scam available so engage brain and if it sounds too good to be true, do some real research before jumping in. There are some excellent programs for training and SEO help, everything you need and much of it free or close to it if you know where to look.

It is not always easy to sort through the many choices to make on the internet. Some folks use Yahoo, MSN or Ask but in my opinion Google is King! Are you sick and tired of a dead end job and the rat race that goes with it? Google search brought me to one excellent example of a home business (there are thousands of styles of business to chose from) and with 50+ of all Americans purchasing products and services on the internet, it just makes sense to get YOUR piece of the pie. Now I say all this with a serious agreement that you can make lots of money doing the following BUT there are other options that might feel more to your personal and ethical liking. As a mentor if you were to ask advice, I’d say down load a Google Tool Bar (don’t worry about the rest of the competition, they all follow Google).

Do a Google Search: Google Services. Read up on what services Google offers, don’t buy anything, just get to know them inside and out. They have a lot of sevrices. You can also Google Search for a List of Google Product – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. They have an abundance of quality programs that will be of benifit to your business.

I’d sugggest you now using the search look at a lot of web sites selling programs that are similar to what you are thinking of or are already in. Keep notes of what you like and what you don’t.
